PetSure was born out of something very personal: we’re pet owners, too. We know how much trust you place in a kennel, daycare, boarding facility, or veterinary practice when you leave your pet in someone else’s care. We also know what it feels like when that trust is followed by a sick pet, an unexpected trip to the veterinarian, and a very expensive lesson.

We started PetSure after experiencing this firsthand. More than once, our own pets came home from kennels with an illness detectable within our panels. What started as a routine boarding stay turned into multiple trips to the vet, medications, cleaning, disinfecting, and yes...replacing carpet. Beyond the financial cost, the hardest part was wondering: Could this have been prevented?

That question became the foundation for PetSure. We believe prevention starts with information. PetSure was created to give pet care professionals something they often don't have: a clearer picture of what's happening in their environment before a problem becomes an outbreak.

Our goal isn't to create fear around boarding, daycare, grooming, or other pet care environments. Quite the opposite. We want to help responsible businesses demonstrate that they are taking proactive steps to protect the animals in their care. Through molecular PCR testing and environmental monitoring, PetSure helps identify the presence of targeted bacterial, viral, and parasitic pathogens on environmental surfaces.
